Who we are:

alpakas is on a mission to prove that grocery delivery can be radically more sustainable. We are zero-waste, organic & local - and we are just getting started. We are live in Berlin but will expand quickly in Germany. We combine sustainability and practicality to address one of the biggest waste problems of our time: plastic packaging. To achieve zero-waste, we use our own system of reusable refill-containers and work with suppliers who believe in the same mission. We want to make it easy to re-connect to the local producers and are proud to work with many of them already <3

Your role:

As our CRM manager you lead customer retention at alpakas. Most of the digital interaction we have with our customers would run through you. We want someone who both carefully thinks about each step of the customer journey AND rigorously tests their assumptions continuously.  You will succeed as part of the alpakas team:  we have a strong analytics, performance and brand team members who will all work closely with you for the common goal. If you LOVE food and stellar operational skills across app and mail CRM activities, we want to get to know you.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Join our diverse marketing team & become a member of the alpakas family

  • Develop the heart of the digital customer journey 

  • Work with digital product colleagues and the ops team in the physical world - your job is to connect the two:)

  • Test notifications and learn to see what works and what doesnt - we embrace failures and mistakes to learn 

  • Integrate your efforts with our quickly evolving app and other marketing activities, to build an amazing zero waste customer community 

Job requirements

We are looking for people who have...

  • In-depth knowledge of building a scalable CRM stack

  • A true passion for sustainability and food 

  • A strong dose of pragmatism to test every day how to get better

  • Ideas of what we should be doing - we are just getting started

  • A growth mindset - prepare our scale phase with ous 

  • Fluent in German and English


  • Work together with a diverse team that consists of experienced and driven entrepreneurs
